Plain language about the data we hold.

What this covers

This notice covers Pallas Taylor's website, event services, and Villagers, our host tool for guest lists, RSVPs, event preparation, introductions, and follow-up.

What we collect

Hosts may give us contact and event details, guest lists, professional information, event goals, private host notes, conversation reminders, introduction ideas, and post-event outcomes. Guests may give us their name, email, RSVP status, dietary or accessibility notes, plus-one choice, and an optional message to the host. We also receive ordinary website and service logs needed to keep the service working and secure.

How we use it

We use this information to run events, show the right guest information to the host, collect RSVPs, prepare event briefings, help hosts make useful introductions, carry open follow-ups into later events, and measure what an event produced. We also use it to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Shared profile data and host-private data

Villagers keeps a core person record that can include identity, role, company, LinkedIn URL, and other professional context. That record may be enriched from information supplied by hosts or from public sources. Host-private notes, avoid lists, event goals, relationship history, and follow-up context are kept for the host who supplied them and are not intended to be visible to other hosts.

Who receives data

We use service providers to host the website and database and to deliver event briefings. They process data for us under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or a person, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Retention and security

We keep information while it is needed for the event relationship, the host's continuing people history, legal obligations, and reasonable backup or security needs. No system is perfectly secure. We limit access and use technical controls intended to keep host-private data separated.

Your choices

You may ask what information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some information may be retained when required by law or needed for legitimate security and recordkeeping. Hosts may also request an export or deletion of their Villagers data.
